What is baby pineapple?
The baby pineapple is a smaller variety of this popular fruit, which is a topical fruit with a sweet, yellow flesh. The name, however, is a misnomer, since this is not a fruit that is simply harvested early, before it grows to full size; A baby pineapple may be any of several cultivars of the fruit that does not grow as large as some others.
Baby Pineapple VS normal Pineapple
Resembling a regular pineapple, the baby pineapple is about 5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. It has a full pineapple taste and less fibrous, edible core. They tend to be sweeter than the full-grown varieties. Supplies are available year-round.Usually the baby pineapple average weight is less than 850g.
