Patent Abstract: This patent introduces an electromechanical integrated machine designed to peel and slice both melons and pineapples. The machine consists of a holding mechanism, a peeling mechanism, and a cutting mechanism arranged consecutively along the processing direction of fruits and vegetables.
The holding mechanism receives and advances the fruits and vegetables, while the peeling mechanism detects the actual cutting height and efficiently removes the outer skin using dual peeling knives.
Subsequently, the cutting mechanism segments the peeled fruits and vegetables, discarding the ends and slicing them into pieces. Additionally, a method for processing fruits and vegetables using this electromechanical machine is disclosed.
The holding mechanism secures the position of the fruit or vegetable to be processed, after which the peeling structure accurately determines its height. The dual peeling knives efficiently remove the skin, and subsequently, a cylinder sequentially slices multiple fruits and vegetables. A third telescopic cylinder collaborates with the cutting process to trim the top and bottom of the fruits and vegetables, thereby saving time and enhancing production efficiency.
